We, are planning to organize a ‘Swachh Bharat Diwas’ program on 2nd October, 2024 which is likely a part of the ongoing ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ activities. Students from all departments including staff of the University are going to participate in this programme. This date holds special significance as it marks Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, a day dedicated to the ideals of cleanliness and public service, reflecting Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of a clean and self-reliant India. By continuing with the efforts under Swachhata Pakhwada, this program aims to reinforce the importance of cleanliness, not just as an occasional effort, but as a sustained movement towards a healthier, more responsible society.

Through various activities, this initiative will further encourage community participation and promote awareness around sanitation, hygiene, and waste management. These activities will serve as a reminder of our shared responsibility to maintain cleanliness in public spaces, while also fostering a sense of pride and ownership within local communities.

Swachhata Pakhwada 2024 at Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh was a successful initiative that engaged the university community in meaningful activities focused on cleanliness and sustainability. The active participation of students, faculty, and staff helped in making the event impactful, setting a strong example for future initiatives aimed at environmental conservation and personal hygiene.
