Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science is established in the Academic Year 2019-20. The department offered
Programmes like Diploma in Cyber Security, PG diploma in Computer Science till 2021-22. Presently, the department is offering B.Sc. Programme in Artificial Intelligence with an intake capacity of 30,which is emerging broad technology in the field of Computer Science.

The objective of the department is to impart quality education and achieve the vision of excellence in the field of Computer Science & IT. With rapidly evolving technology and continuous need for innovation, department is committed to produce quality professionals in both the academia and IT industry.

Specifically, B.S.c.(Artificial Intelligence) course of CTUAP offers students internship not only in application based research but also gives an opportunity for extension activities being conducted at Local/National/MNC IT/ITES industries.

The department is well connected with Software/Hardware/Networking Information Technology(IT) /Information Technology Enabled Services(ITES) services at State/National/MNC level based companies to strengthen employability to the students and to provide internship opportunities before the completion of the final semester examinations.

Laboratories :

Computer Lab:

The computer lab is equipped with huge collection of high-configured systems with fully connected, both Wi-Fi and LAN broadband connections. It was also equipped with digital podium and smart business TVs of 55 inches each. All the systems are protected with latest Anti-Virus software and are loaded with fully active latest software.

The students will be given access 24 X 7 to search for job portals, e-books, practical and theoretical material/videos related to the subjects of the semester, enable the teachers to deliver live demonstrations for theory and practical sessions and etc.,

All the systems are also interconnected with one another through LAN facility. The computer lab also facilitated with traditional black and white boards for the delivery of traditional mode of teaching-learning process.

Server Room:

University provides internet enabled computing facilities to faculty, students and staff of the university and also build and maintaining a state of-the-art Campus-wide Network with adequate Wi-Fi facilities. All these facilities are integrated into server room through the use of following world class equipment offered by Network giant CISCO Company. Wi-Fi and LAN: Entire university is facilitated with fully- connected
Wi-Fi through Access points and switches and dedicated high-speed broadband LAN connections
