Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC)

An Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) in Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh is established to ensure that all individuals have equal access to opportunities, resources, and services, regardless of their background, identity, or any other potential sources of discrimination. The EOC aims to create an inclusive and equitable environment by addressing issues of inequality and discrimination.

Functions and responsibilities of an Equal Opportunity Cell include:

• Liaison and Coordination
• Monitoring and Reporting

The EOC may be tasked with ensuring that students from underrepresented communities (like Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and economically weaker sections) are given proper facilities and opportunities to succeed. The ultimate goal of an Equal Opportunity Cell is to foster an environment of fairness and dignity for all members of the university.
