Constitution Day-2024

CTUAP proudly celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) on 26th November 2024 reaffirming its commitment to the principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The event aimed to educate participants on the significance of the Constitution and inspire them to uphold its values in their daily lives.

The celebrations commenced with quiz competition where students participated enthusiastically followed by the deliberations by the students on the constitution. The event further proceeded with the reading of the Preamble of the Constitution, led by the Hon’ble Vice-chancellor-CTUAP, emphasizing the importance of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

A keynote address was delivered by Prof. Mohd. Miyan, Former Vice-Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, who highlighted the historical journey of the Constitution and its role in shaping modern India. The speech shed light on the vision of the framers of the Constitution, led by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and encouraged everyone to actively contribute to the nation’s progress while upholding constitutional values.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. T.V. Kattimani, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CTUAP, said, that the Indian Constitution is a guiding light for our democratic aspirations. Celebrating Constitution Day not only honors its framers but also reminds us of our duties as citizens. The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff, making it a memorable occasion to instill a sense of patriotism and responsibility among the attendees.
