A seminar on Viksit Bharath@2047: Emerging Trends in Geochemistry and Geochemical Analysis

The Department of Geology, Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh organized a seminar on “Viksit Bharath@2047: Emerging Trends in Geochemistry and Geochemical Analysis​” on March 14, 2024.  The event was graced by Prof. T.V. Kattimani,  Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CTUAP, and the resource person  Dr. V. Balaram,  Former Emeritus Scientist, and Chief Scientist & Head of the Geochemistry Division, CSIR – National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Hyderabad delivered an insightful talk by emphasizing the Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach for solving the contemporary and real-world problems related to Hydrogeology, Geochemistry and Environmental pollution and research, analytical and technological advances and challenges in the field of Geosciences. Prof. T.V. Kattimani delivered the presidential address emphasizing the need for sustainable utilization of natural resources. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

On this momentous occasion, Prof. T. V. Kattimani, the revered Vice Chancellor of CTUAP, unveiled an edited volume titled “Emerging Technologies for Water Supply, Conservation, and Management.” Co-edited by Dr. M. Prasad and published by Springer, this book marks a milestone in addressing the critical challenges of water supply, conservation, and management through the lens of emerging technologies.
