The Department of Botany is organizing a national conference cum workshop on “Cultivating the Future: Advances in Plant Science and Biotechnology for sustainability 2025”is scheduled during February 27-28, 2025.
The seminar aims to understand and discuss the global challenges of climate change, food insecurity, and environmental degradation. Plant science and biotechnology have emerged as pivotal fields in addressing these issues, offering breakthroughs that enhance agricultural productivity, preserve biodiversity, and promote sustainable development. This conference, Cultivating the Future: Advances in Plant Science and Biotechnology for Sustainability, intents to provide a dynamic platform for researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and educators to exchange knowledge and foster collaborations in these critical areas.
