NOTIFICATION FOR THE FIRST CONVOCATION (to be held on 30 June 2026)

The First Convocation of the Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh, Vizianagram will be held on 30th June 2026. All the students who passed Diploma, PG Dioloma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Integrated programmes and whose examinations results have been declared during the period from November 2020 to April 2026 by the Office of Controller of Examinations, are eligible to received their Convocation Degree Certificates at the ensuing Convocation.
Student Eligibility :
Students who had already registered and paid the prescribed Convocation fee in response to the earlier notification are not required to register or make any additional payment. Further, students who completed their programmes during the period 2020 to 2024 but could not register earlier are hereby provided with an opportunity to register for the Convocation during the current registration period
Eligible students of the Academic Years 2024–25 and 2025–26are required to register online through the Samarth Portal and pay the prescribed Convocation fee by following the procedure outlined below:

  3. Make the prescribed fee payment and
  4. Students who have completed Diploma, PG Diploma, UG, PG and Integrated programmes in the University, should register separately for each programme.

 

Documents to be uploaded:
  1. Provisional Degree Certificate issued by the CTUAP
  2. Course Completion Certificate issued by the CTUAP
  3. Grade Cards of all semesters
  4. Copy of Matriculation/SSC/CBSE/HSC Certificate
  5. Passport size photograph

Important Instructions:
  1. The student should read the instructions fully and must fill the details carefully.
  2. Only a Diploma, PG Diploma, UG, PG and Integrated programme students whose examination results have been declared during the period from Nov 2020 to June 2026 by the Office of Controller of Examinations can fill the Registration Form.
  3. Before filling the Convocation Registration Form, student should keep the following documents ready and upload along with the Registration Form
  4. Scanned photocopy of the Provisional Degree Certificate
  5. Grade Cards of all semesters (issued by CTUAP) in.pdf format
  6. Recent passport size colour photograph for affixing on the Degree Certificate. The photograph shall be in a formal dress without distorting background in JPEG/JPG format. Mobile Selfies will not be accepted.
  7. The dimension of the recent photograph must be 3.5X4.5cm (Width X Height) (without mask) and within 10KB to 100KB limit.
  8. The dimension of Signature must be 3.5X5.5 cm (Width X Height) and within 10KB to 100KB limit
  9. The student should upload his/her Provisional Degree Certificate as a PDF file with a size of up to 5 MB. Make sure it is scanned in A4 size (210 x 297 mm) and ensure the document is clearly and completely visible.
  10. Registration Fee should be paid only through Samarth Portal link provided.
  11. The degree certificate of the student admitted to the convocation IN-ABSENTIA will be sent by speed post to the address given by him/her. Students should fill the correct address in full and contact number in the specified columns.
  12. The students should note down the Payment Transaction/Reference number for future reference.
  13. The students should use the mobile number provided at Aadhaar card only so as to link it to the creation of DigiLocker account, which enables online access to the student’s Academic Certificates.
  14. No refund of fee will be considered under any circumstances.
  15. Application in offline mode is not accepted.
  16. The student can attend the Convocation accompanied by one guest (two for the First Rankers), subject to the availability of space.
  17. Guest passes can be downloaded only by students receiving the Degree through Samarth Portal.
  18. The student must follow all the notifications and guidelines issued on the University from time to time.
  19. Requests for changes in seating will not be considered at the Convocation Venue.
Dress Code for students:
  • The formal dress code for both men and women (Wearing block-printed dresses is prohibited ) during Convocation is as mentioned below:
  • Dress for Men:Should come in White Kurta (stand collar) white Pyzama   (lowernarrow end) and Uttariya. Only Uttariya Shall be provided by the University rest shall be arranged bythe students themselves.(The Convocation Fee is inclusive of cost of Uttariya)
  • Dress for Women: Should come in White salwar-kameez /white saree with maroon border and Uttariya.Only Uttariya shall be provided by the University rest shall be arranged by the students themselves.(The Convocation Fee is inclusive of cost of Uttariya)
  • A Uttariya should be worn by everyone during the Convocation. Students can get the Uttariya from the University at the Convocation Venue.
Wearing the prescribed Dress and Stole at the Convocation is mandatory.
