The university hosted Yuvamanthan Model Youth Parliament event on March 18, 2025 under the aegis of UGC. The students and faculty collaborated to conduct the event on the theme “Viksit Bharat: Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Employment.” The event aimed to encourage youth participation in policy discussions, fostering leadership, critical thinking, and an understanding of governance. Students assumed various roles such as Members of Parliament, Speakers, and secretariat, making the deliberations both informative and impactful. Distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) K.V. Lakshmipathi Raju Correspondent – MANSAS, graced the event and emphasized the importance of youth engagement in shaping the nation’s future. Prof. T. Srinivasan, Registrar i/c commended the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to meaningful discussions. The event concluded with an award ceremony recognizing outstanding performances in categories.

The programme was marked by the thought provoking insights highlighting the importance of a career development and youth employment in the contemporary world and the role of various governments both state and national level to cope up with these issues. The programme was a step towards inclusiveness and welfare of youths tackling the problems in a more holistic way.
