The students and staff of the Department of Geology visited the District Ground water and water Audit
Department, Vizianagaram as part of the development of collaboration with industry and institutions in
the field of Geology.
Sri. NVK Durga Prasad, the Dy. Director, District Ground water and water Audit Department has
briefed the Groundwater set-up in the Vizianagaram District, activities that are being done by the
Groundwater department to improve the status of groundwater in the district and explained the students
about the job opportunities in the State and Central Govt sector in geology.
