Notification for intimation of Date and procedure to be followed by the students at the Convocation Venue

The First Convocation of the Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh is to be held on Tuesday the 10th June 2025 at 12:00 Noon,at the AU Convention Centre, Andhra University, Beach Road, Pandurangapuram, Visakhapatnam.Degrees will be conferred upon Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Integrated Programme students who have successfully completed their programmes and whose results were declared between November 2021 and July 2024.

Time of Arrival:

All the Degree Awardees must reach well before08.00 AM in order to avoid last minute congestion, kindly arrive on time,as registrations  checks will be conducted prior to entry into the Convocation Hall.      Please carry your Aadhaar Card for verification and any authentic document related to your proof of study in the University, as per security protocol.

On-Venue Registration:

All graduands attending the convocation must complete on-site registration on the day of the convocation. Upon successful registration between 08:00 to 09:00 AM, each graduand will be issued a Convocation Stole/Uttariaya, Entry Pass, and Food Coupons/Tokens.

Please ensure that you collect these items and proceed to take your designated seat/block in the hall immediately after registration.

Lunch Arrangements:

Lunch will be provided to all students and their approved accompany after the convocation ceremony. Food coupons/tokens will be distributed at the time of on-site registration. Please ensure that you present them at the lunch counter.

Academic Dress Code for the convocation:

  1. For Male Students: White Kurta(stand collar) white Pyzama (lower narrow end) and Uttariya.
  2. For Female:White salwar-kameez /white saree with maroon border and Uttariya.
  3. Formal shoes or sandals only (please do not wear casual or slippers).
  4. No graduands will be allowed to attend the Convocation ceremony in a dress other than the one specified above for the Convocation.

Note: The Uttariya will be provided by the University. All other attire must be arranged by the    graduands.

Ceremony Protocol:

The convocation is a formal and solemn academic event. All participants are requested to strictly observe the following guidelines:

  • Once seated, movement into or out of the hall will be restricted until the conclusion of the ceremony.
  • All attendees must maintain the dignity and decorum of the occasion until the academic procession exits the hall.
  • Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, bags, and similar items are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Hall.
  • Full cooperation is expected from all graduands with the Security Staff, Marshalls, Volunteers, and Administrative Officials.
  • Procession – Standing until completed.

Any student failing to comply with the above protocols may be disqualified from participating in the ceremony.
