Student Grievance & Redressal Committee is a formal body established by CTUAP to address and resolve complaints or grievances raised by students. This committee play a critical role in maintaining a positive and fair academic environment by ensuring that student concerns are heard, investigated, and resolved in a transparent, fair, and timely manner.
Functions of the Committee:

Receiving Complaints: The committee accepts grievances from students regarding issues like academic disputes, harassment, discrimination, unfair treatment, facilities-related problems, or other matters affecting their academic life.

Investigating Complaints: It conducts thorough, impartial investigations into the grievances, gathering relevant information and evidence from all parties involved.

Providing Redressal: Based on the findings, the committee recommends appropriate actions to resolve the issue, which may include mediation, counseling, policy changes, or disciplinary measures.

Ensuring Fairness: The committee ensures that all grievances are handled in accordance with the university’s policies and procedures, maintaining fairness and confidentiality.

Promoting Awareness: It may also work to educate students and staff about their rights and responsibilities, helping to prevent grievances from arising in the first place.
