Education is a potential factor which supplements the process of women empowerment. The Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh prioritizes to orient and build the studentship with the qualities of independent, responsible, empowered citizens who are capable, suitable for the nation-building.
The New Education Policy-2020 declares to strengthen the girl education and gender equality of girl students. The NEP-2020 highlights “decisive steps to ensure proper weightage and support in education to women”. Similarly, “employment support is a vital factor for girls” (NEP-2020-The Game Changer, by Prof.T.V.Kattimani).
Accordingly, the Women Cell of Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh organizes gender sensitivity programmes and skill enhancement for under graduate and post graduate (UG & PG) girl students, which is mandatory in New Education Policy-2020.
