The ICSSR Sponsored One-Day National Workshop on “Millet Marvels: Cultivating Knowledge for Farmers, Entrepreneurs, and Consumers” organized by the Project Director, Dr. Divya K. on 12th February 2024. It served as a platform for sharing best practices, success stories, and challenges in millet production, consumption, entrepreneurship, and promotion, featuring discussions on future strategies. The workshop, inaugurated by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. T.V. Kattimani, drew over 120 participants, including farmers, tribal groups, villagers, women’s groups, millet merchants, students, teachers, and various community representatives, enriching the dialogue with diverse perspectives.
Dr. Divya K., Project Director, along with Co-Project Directors Prof. Srinivasan T., Dr. Anirudh Kumar, and Dr. Prama Chatterjee, has undertaken the task of accomplishing the agenda of the national workshop. The message of International Millet Year – 2023 has successfully reached diverse social groups of Vizianagaram.
