National science Day is celebrated February 28th every year. It commemorates the discovery of the “Raman Effect” by Indian Physicist Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. The CTUAP celebrated National science dayin its campus starting from 28th Feb to 6th Mar 2023 and Faculty of Science of CTUAP organized the program, Prof. Sarat Chandra Babu was coordinator of the program introduced the theme of this year “Indigenous technologies for Viksit Bharat”. The Chief-Guest of the day was Prof. P. C. Joshi, former Vice chancellor of Delhi university and guest of honor was Prof. P.B. Kirti an emeritus scientist from University of Hyderabad who addressed and enlightened the gathering with their knowledge and experience. Presidential remarks was given by Prof. T.V. Kattimani, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CTUAP highlighted that Indian knowledge system should be spread across and should be documented very well.
